The RockDogs live in a fictional town called Castlebay.

Vital Facts

Best Suburb:
Castle Bay Heights, ritzy suburb that overlooks the city. Eric's (RockDogs guitarist) family lives in the best house in Castlebay Heights.

Worst suburb:
Logan, on the other side of the river, is continually being tarted up because of its cheap land and water views.  Some houses, like Zeke's Grandma's, (where the Doghouse is located) have resolutely defied being improved upon and remain in a constant state of decay.  

Industry:
Boat repair and small marina provides berths for fishermen and tourists, general industrial (car yards, mechanical workshops, timber yards, etc.)  Castlebay is emerging as a trendy tourist spot for people wanting to see the ‘Real' Australia.  (Locals think this is hilarious).

Geography: 
The town has a beach and a bay, and is surrounded by mountains to the west.  (The RockDogs like to sit on the hills overlooking the bay, watching the boats come into port.  Couples also go there to make out).

Climate:
Hot in summer (40 degrees on the worst days), pleasantly cool in winter. Snow sometimes falls on the mountains.

Location: Australia, south of Wollongong.

Population: About 500,000.
